Words and Music by Phil Morgan

Some days I don't feel like a bright and shining star,
Leading others to the Lord,
But I recall the call He placed upon my life,
That quiet voice that cannot be ignored.

When I don't feel like singing, I do.
When I don't feel like praying, I pray through.
I see Jesus in the garden and I know the choice was His,
When He didn't feel like dying for me, He did.

Now please don't get me wrong, the fire still burns inside,
I love Him more and more each day.
I love the mountain tops when I'm basking in the Son,
But I'll praise Him from this valley today.

He did not shun the torture of the cross,
Cause He felt that I was worth all that it cost.

No He didn't feel like dying for me...
But praise God, He did.
